The Discipline of Joy
Are you wanting to be more disciplined in your sketching, drawing or painting? Let me encourage you with a new concept: The Discipline of Joy. Discipline is a good thing, but don't forget the DISCIPLINE of JOY. It's a term I (Mary) came up with. I want to be disciplined about creating an atmosphere of joy in my life. If it isn't there, I ask myself why. Have I gone into a rut, gotten too perfectionistic, am I burned out and need a break or maybe I need a creative spark that takes me back to that first love.
